7 POT BARRACKPORE
The 7 Pot Barrackpore is another of the hottest 7 Pot peppers on the planet! This 7 Pot originated from the region of Barrackpore on the Caribbean Island of Trinidad. It has a wrinkled surface with ridges that run the length of the chili to its pointed tail. They ripen from green to orange and finally to an electric bright red. A very productive producer of fruit with larger size pods.
This one is from the Town of Chaguanas in Trinidad and Tobago. Many of the “Super Hots” come from this region. The 7 pots were named after their ability to heat up 7 pots of stew and the Barrackpore is no exception. This is a great pepper to grow for hot sauces and powders because of its high yield, great flavor and relentless heat.
Where can you find the 7 Pot Barachpore Pepper?
Spicieans… Like most of the Super Hots, these are again very difficult to find. I found them dried from the link below. As always, maybe growing these naughty little peppers is your best bet or try to search locally.
